Job Description

Role Summary:Be a strategic partner to the EGM CEO staff team, provide thought leadership & guidance to leverage technology to enable competitive advantage for GE Healthcare. Act as the face of Digital Technology (DT) in EGM for GEHC and own and drive the DT strategy in partnership with DT teams and COEs. The role reports to the CIO of Europe & EGM Regions Healthcare.Essential Responsibilities:In this role, you will:

  • Collaborate with business and functional partners and technology leadership to define strategic and tactical roadmap of IT initiatives?drive the wing to wing digitization strategy and execution across the customer value chain
  • Be a change leader -- driving business process improvement using technology and LEAN/6s
  • Develops peer, cross-functional and cross-region business relationships to maximize best practice sharing and team effectiveness
  • Evangelize new opportunities possible with technology investment; challenge status quo and drive data/digital disruption
  • Help define and prioritize IT projects targeted to deliver most business value
  • Outline multi-generational project strategy aligned to deliver on the expected outcomes
  • Own, manage and drive deployments of IT Commercial, OTR, Service & Finance platforms
  • Partner with business stakeholders to ensure successful adoption and realization of value to the business
  • Support execution team with resolution of roadblocks and interdependencies
  • Partner with leadership of technical and functional teams to ensure sufficient support and engagement
  • Manage executive stakeholder communication and progress reporting
  • Track project outcomes realization and customer satisfaction levels through established metrics against service level
  • Ensure lessons learned are collected
  • Drive the aggressive retirement of legacy platforms and transition to strategic global platforms
  • Be the local point of contact for all escalations, IT operations and IT systems used to keep the business running
?Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelors Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology (IT), Computer Science or related technical discipline or equivalent knowledge or experience
  • Very strong IT professional experience
  • Extensive professional experience in Software Development Project Management?Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be willing to travel
