In recognition of our growth, we are investing significant resources in IHG Rewards to provide compelling benefits and experiences to our best customers.As the Director for Hotels Procurement, you will be responsible for delivering benefit to IHG through leading sub regional Procurement & optimising Internal Business & supplier relationships and commercial deals by leading Procurement for the defined Sub RegionYou will:

• Lead Procurement for all relevant in scope spend of the sub region of IMEA
• Define relationship with, and manage hotel procurement clusters and resources across the sub region of IMEA in partnership with Finance and Operations Teams
• Support and Drive the deployment of the digital procurement strategy in IMEA, liaising with the Digital and Technology teams as needed
• Develop and manage key internal business relationships within the sub region of IMEA
• Develop & own category plans for all Hotel categories at L2 & L3 within the sub region of IMEA
• Build a deep understanding of supply markets and the implications for IHG and all regional IMEA Hotels
• Lead successful execution of sourcing, demand management & continuous improvement projects to deliver business objectives
• Develop and implement responsible procurement strategies (risk, sustainability and diversity) within spend profile
• Guide and provide commercial information to team members & business stakeholders, BU leaders and owner groups
• Develop relationships with wider Owner communities, facilitating Advisory committees in region
• Manage where relevant regional supplier relationships monitor supplier performance
• Operating within the IHG Procurement operating model
• Deliver margin (benefits) for the business and owners

• Ability to lead development of IHGs procurement capabilities within the sub region:
• Demonstrated strategic deliverables in high level procurement projects
• Previously demonstrated senior leadership at similar levels in IHG or externally
• Strong Influence & negotiation skills to collaborate with key stakeholders, internally and externally, to drive results
• Mix of business understanding and deep expertise in procurement techniques and best practise
• Proven multi year,broad experience across a global procurement function at a senior level
• Experience managing spend across a diverse mix of indirect and direct hospitality categories
• Ability to navigate, influence and manage change in a global multinational matrix organisation
• Strong strategic understanding of IHG?s global business & hospitality industry dynamics; effective at identifying broader business trends and creating timely response within IHG
• Experience leading diverse cross-functional teams and engaging with senior leadership across a matrix organization
