Helium is very specific: it is limited in its availability with about 10 main sources worldwide and the overall supply & demand is often unbalanced, leading to several cycles from shortage to oversupply, due to sourcing changes, evolution in customer applications, or geopolitics.?Rare Gases (Xenon, Krypton and Neon) are also very specific molecules: there are only a few sources worldwide mostly located in South Africa, US, Eastern Europe and China, and these molecules are critical for a couple of applications in electronics, the space industry and lighting. As a result, the Rare Gases market is global with an overall supply & demand often unbalanced.?Global Helium and Rare Gases (DGRH) is responsible in defining Air Liquide group strategy for Helium and Rare Gases business, managing the full helium and rare gases value chain worldwide from securing the sourcing, investing and operating the required production, logistics and maintenance equipment and facilities.?The Global Helium & Rare Gases perimeter is a worldwide organization including Air Liquide Global Helium FZE in the UAE (ALGH), Helium Services SA in France (HSSA) including the Epe branch in Germany, Air Liquide Helium Americas Inc. in the US (ALHA), and Air Liquide France Industries SA, Dptm Gaz Rare in France (DGR).?Mission and ResponsibilitiesAs a global role covering the entities in the UAE, France (incl. branch in Germany), and the US, the key mission of the DGRH Operations Control Manager is to provide overall steering of business:?Reporting

• Drive closing process and ensure correctness of results, liaise with accounting teams as needed.
• Consolidate P&L and KPIs throughout the different legal entities and ERPs.
• Prepare financial reports including variance analysis and ensure reporting in respective Group tools.?

• Prepare planning calendar.
• Develop and drive financial modeling / overall simulation tool for target and forecasts.
• Support quantification of mid term strategic plans.?

• Perform operational and financial analysis within business units and present findings and recommendations to Management (impact of business changes, sales, costs, efficiencies).
• Provide guidance and direction for improving operational and financial performance.
• Manage monthly review session (KPI table, Zoom subjects) in order to ensure target delivery.
• Assist Operational Directors and Managers in preparation for reviews.?

• Follow-up on investment decisions and projects.
• Support preparation of investment calculations to determine profitability of projects.?

• Work closely with Internal Controls as needed, to investigate and correct operational issues.
• Ensure business operations are in compliance with company policies and best practices.
