Quest Search and Selection is working with a progressive technology company in the Middle East seeking for a DevOps Automation Engineer to join their team in Dubai. We are ideally looking for someone with high interest in Financial Technology and an experience working in a startup or fast-moving environment.As a DevOps Automation Engineer, you will:- Design, configure, and maintain platform operations for cloud and bare metal deployments- Create disaster recovery plans, conduct systems tests for security, performance, and availability- Implement automation tools and frameworks- Analyze code and communicate detailed reviews to development teams- Share operational requirements and development forecasts- Work with team members to enhance engineering tools, systems and procedures, and data securityDesirable skills and background:- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent- Minimum 5 years as a DevOps Engineer or equivalent- Solid technical skills in: Scripting (Python, Bash, Ruby), cloud orchestration tools, AWS, backup and recovery, database configuration- Critical thinker and a team player- Excellent problem solving, time management, and documentation skills- Excellent verbal and written communication skillsThis is a huge opportunity for you to work in an energetic, dynamic and progressive environment.
