Having recently added several experienced developers to our existing team we are now looking for the person to be the pivotal co-ordination point for all of our on going projects.With our IMEA region being a focal point for growth over the coming years, this busy, fast moving team juggle multiple projects, deliver to targets, meet potential owners/investors/clients/government bodies etc and travel, often at short noticeThis role will give you a unique insight into the world of developing new branded hotels at IHG and could lead to a career as a developer in the future.This is an exciting role where no two days will be the same, one day you could be analysing critical data to help formulate business decisions.   • Co-ordinating and understanding the.Development workflow/projects procedures
  • Support and provide collateral for team members in business development, client meetings, presentations etc..
  • Support the team in carrying out vital market research and data collection to enable sales leads to be generated.
  • Coordinate/monitor sales/development process and procedures and assist team members to prepare the sales approval process and deal signing
  • Prepare sales/leads analysis and prepare and summarise presentations to VP of Development and team
  • Ensure the on deal tracking system and related software is maintained regularly, accurately and any risks/opportunities are duly highlighted..
  • Coordinate and follow up with team members to ensure all vital deadlines are achieved.
  • Prepare and maintain departments data base (Clients/Projects)
  • Coordinate internal and external meetings, prepare minutes of meetings when required and create any action/task logs needed.
  • Support team members with development support tasks (presentations, disseminating correspondence, scheduling meetings etc.)
  • Coordinate team traveling and business development requirement along with respective expenditure and approvals (travel, events coordination, meetings, client meetings etc.)
In a new role it is unlikely that you will have done all the tasks previously. However experience of the below coupled with an interest, or experience, in supporting a Sales team previously is essential.Critical Expertise & Experience:
  • Proven experience as office specialist/co-ordinator in a fast paced, professional and constantly evolving environment.
  • Ability to work on your own initiative and the ability to coordinate a busy team of sales/ developers
  • Experience in the hotel industry is highly beneficial but experience of co-ordinating a busy project/sales team and the challenges that brings would be extremely useful
  • Knowledge of basic data analysis principles and projects/office management systems and procedures
  • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office, Excel, Power Point, ?back-office? accounting software and sales/project management software is a place ? IT proficiency is a must.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills along with the ability to prioritise handle both reactive and pro-active tasks.
  • Ability to influence others to ensure deadlines are met and opportunities are followed through.
