Job Description

We are currently searching for a Design Project Manager to join our Operation Division based in Dubai.?The individual must be able to demonstrate minimum of 5 ?years experience of working within an engineering consultancy in UAE (preferably in Dubai) in addition to good experience working closely with Design Team and Client representative across a wide array of developments. Should have experience in dealing with Dubai authorities (DM, DEWA, Civil Defense, Trakhees, EHS, DDA, DTCM, Taawun .... etc.). Works include managing residential, commercial and master planning ?You must have the relevant qualifications, certifications and professional memberships and the capability?to provide planning, leadership, direction and technical expertise to manage complex tasks and multiple projects?in high rise buildings and?hospitality.?You?must also be a holder of Bachelors Degree in Architecture or Bachelors Degree in Engineering (BEng)????Area of ExperienceDesign Experience:

  • Prepare Design Briefs and scope and ensure all discipline designs are delivered as per the client?s requirements
  • Review submittals from prior to submission to Clients and Authorities.
  • Design coordination between all disciplines such as ID, , FLS, Acoustic, Technology, lighting, FF&E etc.
  • Assist and review with the Project Director all type of correspondences or submissions when required related to work
  • Produce technical reports for submission contain all other disciplines progress of work
  • Attend and lead all coordination, technical, regular coordination meetings and executive meetings and produce detailed MOMs
  • Experienced project design throughout all lifecycles i.e. Concept Design, Schematic Design, Detailed Design and Design development Tender Documents. Value Engineering
  • Experienced in producing designs using BIM Software (ARCHICAD & REVIT)
  • Dealing with all Gov. agencies i.e. DM, DDA, DCD, DEWA etc
  • Review RFI?s were required and Instruct the concerned consultant to replay and deliver solution he the RFI
?Qualifications?????????? Bachelors Degree in Architecture or Bachelors Degree in Engineering (BEng) ?????????Membership of a recognized professional body is desirable but not essential.
