? Function: Management? Location: Dubai? Manager: Managing DirectorThe Design Manager will be responsible for overseeing all design-related aspects of fit-out and joineryprojects, from concept development to project completion. Must work closely with architects, engineers, andother stakeholders to deliver high-quality designs that meet client requirements and industry standardswithin the respected timeline of the project. The Design Manager will also manage a team of designers andcollaborate with all the team-members to ensure seamless project execution.Areas of responsibilityProject Planning and Concept Development :? Collaborate with architects, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements, objectives, andconstraints.? Develop design concepts, space plans, and mood boards that align with client expectations and projectgoals.? Conduct site visits and surveys to gather necessary information for the design process & site execution.? Create detailed design briefs, including specifications, materials, finishes, and timelines.Design Management :? Lead a team of designers, providing full guidance, feedback, and support throughout the design process.? Review and evaluate design proposals, ensuring compliance with design intent, quality standards, andindustry regulations.? Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to obtain necessary approvals and resolve design-related issues.? Conduct regular design reviews, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.? Upon the approval of the design, the deparmtent head has to official share the approval along with thesigned draft.Technical Expertise and Documentation :? Apply technical knowledge of joinery manufacturing processes, materials, and construction techniques todevelop accurate and feasible designs.? Ensure full process with the technical team is done smooth, to make sure the site execution is done asper the final design and detailed drawings.? Ensure to verify and share the final design along with the signature to the technical team to create detailedtechnical drawings.? Prepare comprehensive documentation, including bill of quantities, schedules, and specifications forprocurement and production purposes.? Collaborate with the procurement team to source and select appropriate materials, finishes, andsuppliers.Project Coordination and Communication :? Must collaboration and actively coordinate with all our team-memebers and different function to ensurethe actual and proper projet delivery.? Share with the team the project lead time in term of design and the expected future step. Ensure fullcooridnation for any design changes.? Collaborate closely with project managers, site supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure seamlessproject execution and timely completion.? Facilitate effective communication between design teams, production teams, and other stakeholders toaddress design-related issues and ensure project milestones are met.? Attend project meetings, provide design updates, and offer solutions to overcome challenges.? Regularly report on project progress, budgets, and resource allocation to senior management.
