Job Description

Design Engineer (Mechanical)JOB PURPOSE:Develop & implement technical solutions for process improvement and different engineering projects for procurement and manufacturing.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:Output 3D model and CAD drafts / Manufacturing Drawings:

  • Design new machinery and concepts
  • Design Machinery Upgrades
  • Design Machine Parts
  • Communicate with suppliers and customers
  • Provide Technical Support to requestor
Equipment transfers & Modifications:
  • Ensure a smooth and supported equipment transition to FPI other manufacturing companies
  • Prepare the necessary documentation for equipment transition
  • Handle Equipment Inquiries
  • Design and improve machines and machine parts
  • Supervise the upgrading and building of new equipment and systems
Training and Reporting:
  • Provide the necessary training, and support for assigned projects
  • Verify & Commission outside manufactured components
  • Prepare operating / troubleshooting manuals for new projects
HSE:
  • Comply with relevant safety, quality and environmental control procedures and instructions
  • Use personal protective equipment and safety gear when performing assigned tasks
  • Keep operational areas clean and well organized to prevent incidents and accidents
  • Maintain assigned tools, equipment and machinery in good working order
SPAN OF COMMUNICATION:Internal: Technology, Maintenance, Production, QC/QA.External: Suppliers (Local & Overseas), Other manufacturing units
