Design Engineer - Automation & ControlsJob Location : DubaiRequirements:?Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical / Electronics or equivalent?Certificate/Diploma in CAD/EPLAN/Equivalent. Exceptional Experience / Expertise are preferred over CAD Software certificate / diploma.?Overall, 6-10 years with minimum 5 years? experience with similar environment and job description.?Experience with panel builder is preferable.?Professional Skills required: Panels designing for automation control systems (PLC, DCS, HMI, SCADA), network cabinets and electrical panels.Job Roles & Responsibilities:?Doing necessary calculations, selections and participation in technical meetings to create and organize project documentation, e.g. GA drawing, electrical drawings, architecture drawings, network drawings, BOM, heat and power dissipation, functional design specification, IO allocation, termination drawings, hook-up drawings, P & IDs, loop drawings, cabling drawings etc.?Seamless integration and working with project managers, design consultants and sub-contractors, to produce and modify design docs/drawings.?Thinking creatively and critically to support the project team in the design process, to create docs, calculations, sketches, and drawings which work well for electrical, mechanical, instrumentation and package systems.?Systematically saving docs and drawings in our CAD server; keeping the server organized; updating project folders and files as jobs progress and revisions are made. Record keeping for drawings/docs versions and submittals.?Organizing and uploading docs/drawings to web-based storage sites/collaboration project sites to share docs and drawing submittals, with project team and subcontractors.?Revise drawings and layouts to accommodate changes and enhancements. Creating and continually updating project drawings lists.?Create and supporting project engineers/managers in preparing project documentations. Preparing construction dossiers and As-built dossiers.?Preferred candidates who are willing to join immediately.
