Job Description

DescriptionYour responsibilities will include a variety of tasks as a Dermatology Nurse, General Assistant, and in marketing.Dermatology Nurse:

  • Derma clinic, instruments and machinery preparation.
  • Ensure instruments/tools are cleaned according to sterilization room SOP?s;
  • Checking expiration dates of materials;
  • Count stock /check consumable inventory and place orders to supply chain under management;
  • Assist in patient co-ordination with Advisor;
  • Record patient treatment/history;
  • Assist Dermatologist in preparation of patient /skin cleansing /numbing cr?me;
  • Answer patient questions as well as explain the service or post-treatment / home care;
  • Administering medication under doctor order;
  • Provide chair-side assistance during treatments;
  • Perform derma or laser skin treatments under the Dermatologists guidelines;
  • Perform laser hair removal and firming /sculpting treatments.
General Assistance:
  • Drawing blood samples for lab testing;
  • Checking vital signs: temperature, respiratory rate, blood pressure and pulse rate and record;
  • Give medication as per doctors order;
  • Build a rapport with patients and refer to other modalities.
Marketing Role:
  • Partake in marketing events / social media activities;
  • Promote new weekly, and monthly promotions;
  • Promote yourself by the treatment you can do;
  • Cross referrals to other treatment departments in the clinic.
