Job responsibilitieswill include, but not limited to the following:? Strong communication with the Chef de Partie of the section? Ensure full liaison with other members of the section and the Kitchen team? Key relationship with the Executive Chef and Sous Chefs? Daily data collection and reporting of issues as they arise? Support of Departmental objectives? Completion of yearly ASI surveys? Knowledge of and compliance with Westin minimum standards? Diligence in prevention of wastage? Thorough support of and updating the training manual? Attendance at Departmental meetings and feedback meetingsTo move into this position you should have? Tenure in current position minimum one year? Good conversational skill in English? Good personality & 5* appearance? Excellent culinary catering talent? Cold, Hot, Asian, Continental or Banqueting experience? Basic Food & Hygiene training certification? Good knowledge and understanding of the kitchen and its operations
