Job Description

Our client is a reputed food & manufacturing company in the UAE that deals in its brands and private labelling across the region. They are looking to hire a Debt collection officer (Emirati National) to be based in their office inDubai.Working days: Monday to FridayWorking Hours:8 am to 5 pm (1-hour break)Responsibilities:

  • Keep track of assigned accounts to identify outstanding debts
  • Plan a course of action to recover outstanding payments
  • Locate and contact debtors to inaboutire of their payment status
  • Negotiate payoff deadlines or payment plans
  • Handle questions or complaints
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies
  • Create trust relationships with debtors when possible to avoid future issues
  • Update account status and database regularly
  • Alert superiors of debtors unwilling or unable to pay when necessary
  • Comply with requirements when legal action is unavoidable
RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you need to meet the following requirements:- Associates or bachelors degree/diploma holder- Prior experience as a receptionist or in a related field.- Experience in debt collection /recovery operations in any business process. Freshers will also be welcome.- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.- Must be UAE National- Apt in negotiating and persuading- Ability to be polite and compassionate without lacking confidence
