Job Description

  • Determine quality, cost, strength, and quantity of required materials, and enter figures on materials lists.
  • Examine rough sketches, drawings, specifications, and other engineering data received from civil engineers for conformity to design concepts.
  • Evaluate the effects of weights, volumes, and stress factors on design technicalities and making appropriate adjustments.
  • Liaise with production or construction teams to ensure drawings are understood and implemented correctly.
