Job Summary:The Customs Clearance Executive is responsible for managing the customs clearance process for imports and exports within the UAE. This role ensures compliance with UAE customs regulations and international trade laws, facilitating the smooth and timely release of goods through customs.Key Responsibilities:? Customs Documentation: Prepare, review, and submit all required customs documentation including invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and any other necessary paperwork in compliance with UAE customs regulations.? Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all shipments comply with UAE customs laws and regulations. Stay informed about changes in local customs legislation and trade agreements affecting the UAE.? Customs Representative: Act as the primary liaison with UAE customs authorities, handling inspections, inquiries, and resolving any issues related to customs clearance.? Import/Export Processing: Oversee the import and export processes, including the accurate and timely filing of customs declarations and managing the release of goods.? Record Keeping: Maintain thorough and organized records of customs transactions and documentation, ensuring they are readily available for audits and compliance checks.? Problem Resolution: Address and resolve issues such as delays, discrepancies, or missing documentation that arise during the customs clearance process.? Coordination: Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., logistics, procurement, sales) and external stakeholders (e.g., freight forwarders, customs brokers) to ensure efficient operations.? Reporting: Prepare regular reports on customs clearance activities, including performance metrics, compliance status, and any encountered issues.
