Job Description

The Customer Service/Front Desk Executive is a key member of the wellness club, responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming environment for club members and guests. It is the first point of contact, managing inquiries, handling registrations, and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for all visitors. The Customer Service/Front Desk Executive plays a crucial role in promoting the clubs services, maintaining a positive image, and supporting the overall operation:

  • Greet and welcome members, guests, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Manage phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries, providing accurate information about the clubs services, programs, and facilities.
  • Assist with membership registrations, renewals, and payments, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of member records.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing member inquiries, resolving concerns, and offering assistance in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Assist members and guests with locker assignments, and any other requests or amenities.
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the clubs offerings, promotions, and events to communicate effectively and upsell services.
  • Manage cash transactions, including handling membership fees, retail sales, and any other payments, following established procedures.
  • Ensure accuracy in billing and invoicing, coordinating with the finance department when necessary.
  • Maintain proper documentation of transactions, receipts, and member records related to payments.

  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines, ensuring a clean, hygienic, and safe environment for members and staff.
  • Respond appropriately to emergencies, incidents, or member concerns, following established SOPs and escalating issues when necessary.
  • Regularly inspect the facilities, reporting any maintenance or repair needs to the relevant departments.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in customer service, front desk, or receptionist roles, preferably in a wellness or hospitality setting
  • High school diploma or equivalent (relevant certifications or hospitality-related education is a plus).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and connect with members and guests.
  • Friendly and welcoming demeanor, with a strong customer-focused mindset.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems, point-of-sale (POS) software, and other relevant tools.
  • Organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with good numerical and cash handling abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities.
  • Knowledge or interest in wellness, fitness, or spa services is desirable.
  • Professional appearance and a commitment to maintaining a positive image of the club.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
