Location: Dubai Join the Project Management team (Mobile Security)!Scope and Purpose:Manage projects in the area of Cards for TelecommunicationsResponsible for consulting and project management for customers for new requirements of (U)SIMs until volume production release. This includes a coordinating function between (new) customers, order management, manufacturing and research & development for new and existing products and applications.Responsible for elaborating technical specifications (in particular for SIM Application Toolkit applications) as well as the technical part of tenders.Key Result Areas & Responsibilities:Set up of project plansNew applicationsIntroduction of products at customer siteProject managementCost and scheduleNegotiation of technical requirements with the customer (personalisation profiles and response data formats)Specification of new applications together with the customer as input for the R&D department.Elaboration of specifications and technical sections for tendersTechnical presentation of products and solutions at the customerParticipation at conferencesKnowledge of features and limitations of manufacturing equipment (software) in the area of chipcard initialization and personalizationRegular information on the status of standards (ETSI EP SCP/TSG-T3 USIM)Technical support with respect to customer complaints and suggestion of possible solutionsExecute special tasks, according to management directive.Ensure Customer satisfaction through optimal planning and utilization of the productsEnsure selection of the best solution between customer request and standard product from G+DIdentify clear requirements for the project realization and costEarly identification and report of problems to the managementClear description and documentation for card development and productionTimely, complete, accurate and representative completion of the specifications and technical sections of tendersRepresentation of G+D with the focal point on (new) customersEarly recognition of changes and enhancements to all relevant specifications for competent customer consultingAttend exhibitions, promoting our products and servicesJob Requirements:Bachelor of engineering in electronics / electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or similar educationProject Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification3-5 years experience in managing projects under profitable aspectsKnowledge and experience in mechanical engineering, pneumatics, electronic devices and systems e.g. sensors, modular control, bus systems etc.Adequate knowledge with regards to Financial Controlling aspects of ProjectsExcellent leadership and organizational skillsEffective planning abilities, not only with project scheduling, but also personally to achieve the required goals and dutiesExcellent listening skills ? willing to learn from othersExcellent written, verbal, presentation communications skills on all levelsGood negotiation skillsKnow-how of efficient project management methods.Fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory* Candidate must be willing to travel extensively across Middle East and Africa
