We?re a team of dedicated people driving this mission by providing better, faster, and cheaper ways to access food through technology.Role overviewTo work alongside the R&D team and help scale our recipes while maintaining the flavor and high-quality standards along with providing training to the kitchen team.The successful candidate will employ their culinary and managerial skills in order to play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our customers? satisfaction.Main Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and scaling new recipes while ensuring that the flavor and quality standards are maintained
  • Train the kitchen team to prepare new recipes
  • Resourcefully solve any issues that arise and seize control of any problematic situation
  • Must be able to clearly communicate tasks to team members
  • Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers
  • Produce high quality plates both design and taste wise
Ideal CandidateQualifications
  • Must have had previous experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef
  • Must have 8 years of experience within the hospitality and catering industry
  • Must be a proficient communicator in English
  • Previous experience in a food manufacturing facility is a plus
Knowledge and competency
  • Has had team leading experiences and would be able to train the kitchen team
  • Outstanding communication and leadership skills
  • Up-to-date with culinary trends and optimized kitchen processes
  • Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and procedures.
  • Create and maintain an efficient, hygienic, and positive working environment
  • Display good work ethic, resourcefulness, and organization
  • Must be able to work under pressure and manage time accordingly
  • Ensure quality control and efficient workflow
  • Strong time-management skills
