Job Description

  • To develop strategic merchant partnerships based on the product proposition to increase product profitability, increase market share & brand awareness, deliver customer value, and support delivery of growth and revenue targets
  • To deliver tactical merchant partnerships to boost acquisition, spend/usage, activation and retention programs across the entire product suite
  • Develop strategic relationships with Merchants to build a unique product proposition based on the requirements of each card type- day to day value, entertainment, lifestyle, travel etc
  • Develop new strategic opportunities to deliver unique customer value and broaden the product appeal across all customer segments
  • Sign up tactical partnerships on key spend categories & spend campaigns based seasonal & festive requirements
  • Sign up tactical partnerships for portfolio campaigns to drive card activation, spend activity & retention
  • Sign up merchant alliances for credit card payments
  • Sign up tactical partnerships for cards acquisition
  • Sign up strategic partnerships for co-brand cards acquisitions
  • Develop alternate lead generation channels via partnership alliances for card sales
  • Develop, negotiate and execute annual partnership plan/calendar covering both product & portfolio requirements
  • Manage partner contracts, processes, payments, recoveries and complaint handling at a satisfactory level
  • Ensure timely renewal of merchant contracts
  • Ensure that all partnership agreements, campaigns, processes, terms & conditions, & customer communication has legal & compliance approvals
  • Ensure that all regulatory/Central bank as well as Infosec requirements are complied withTo collaborate with the Cards Business Team towards achieving the yearly target & support other functions be it? Cards Product/Portfolio or Prepaid cards
