Credit Analyst*About Trade Capital Partners (TCP)* TCP is a UAE based Fintech focused on providing working capital solutions to venture back start-ups and SME in the Middle East. Closely work with Credit Manager the role will be to analyze and evaluate credit proposals and information provided by the customer such as project reports, feasibility reports, balance sheet, cash flows, receivables aging etc. to structure credit limits and determine the creditworthiness of applicants.Responsibilities* Process new applications, renewals, service requests for new and existing customers in coordination with Relationship Managers and liaising with Credit, Compliance and Operations departments for customer transactions. Expand business with existing customers to meet the companys growth objectives.* Performing statistical analysis to identify the key features affecting risk decisions and working with the Technology Division to improve and digitise different functions.* Analysing and understanding various data points collected related to the customers business* Visits to customers with RMs as and when required. Such visits to be recorded by way of call reports which are to include all pertinent information in a timely manner.* Maintain a transparent and efficient communication with customers and resolving customer problems and responding to inquiries quickly and effectively.* Apply and comply with relevant processes, procedures, and controls to meet internal legal, corporate and external regulatory requirements.* Assist management with development and implementation of new financial products* Regular monitoring of financials, covenants, and other parameters within the review cycle.* Comply with internal audit requirements in line with the policy guidelines, to ensure high standards of uniformity and consistency across the company.* Assists with audit and compliance examinations, including requesting and preparing materials.* Any other task requested by your line Manager.FinancialsCandidate must possess knowledge and working experience to analyze bank statements and audited financial statements.Attention to detail- Credit analysis is a numbers job, and a missing or incorrect data point can significantly affect the analysis. A credit analyst must demonstrate considerable attention to detail and Candidate must be proficient in analytics, credit assessment and writing skills.Microsoft Excel Credit analyst must be proficient with Microsoft Excel. Knowing some basic functions, such as, common arithmetic functions, graphs, charts, v-lookups, pivot tables is necessary. Writing formulas, Macros and financial modeling is a must.Ability to multitask- A credit analyst may be required to work with different clients at the same time, and the ability to multitask will come in handy when deciding what to prioritize. They must be able to handle demands as they come and juggle tasks according to their urgency and client expectations.Qualifications* Degree in Economics or Finance or Business Management* Min 2 year experience as a credit analyst.
