They are seeking to expand their workforce and are looking to hire an experienced Country Credit Risk Manager for both their UAE and KSA facilities.Client DetailsThe organization is a joint venture, with over 30 years of experience in 70+ countries. Their global annual turnover surpasses US$4 billion, and their Middle East annual turnover generates a respective, US$200 million. They have decided to restructure their Finance department and are seeking a Country Credit Risk Manager to fill this vacancy.DescriptionThe Country Credit Risk Manager will be responsible for:Credit Risk (50%):Assessing the creditworthiness of potential customersPerform an in-depth analysis of financial statements and credit requests for both new and existing credit applicationsEnsuring timely and accurate processing of credit applications; highlighting issues pertinent to credit decisionsProvide suggestions for improvement and implement policies based on the credit risk analysis performedProvide suggestions to mitigate identified risksCredit Control (40%):Establishing the terms and conditions of creditFormulation of credit policies to mitigate identified and potential risksRoutinely reviewing and negotiating procedures to reduce debtor daysReview and maintain bad debt provisionPreparation of journal entries and credit notes for month-end reportsTeam and Staff Management (20%):Must display exceptional communication and problem-solving skillsSupport and supervise the credit control team and debt collection teamsProfileThe ideal Credit Risk professional will have:A bachelors degree, preferably within an Accounting and Finance disciplineAt least 8-12 years of experience in a Credit Risk Management rolePrevious experience in credit risk management from a credit rating or a services-oriented establishmentSolid understanding of fundamental credit risk management conceptsExemplary communication and presentation skillsWillingness to travel when requiredAbility to motivate and drive a newly formed credit collections teamJob OfferThe successful candidate for this role will be offered a competitive monthly salary along with family benefits.
