Job Description

Financial controls, governance controls, risk management and controls in ProcurementRole Details ? Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Develop of budgets and forecasts
  • Collect consolidate and analyze monthly financial data
  • Capture savings against budget, rebates, marketing contributions, retrospective discounts and any element of savings against spend.
  • Review/validate data for accuracy and consistency and work with any other team necessary to improve accuracy and reliability of data
  • Ensure correct financial reporting across all business units through coordination with finance teams in every business unit and the corporate finance team
  • Plan and Manage Budgets related to categories and procurement
  • Spend data analysis Analyse the spend profile to identify the improvement opportunities
  • Work with Category leads to understand the Budgets and spend
  • Validations of the Budgets
  • Advises and creates business-driven financial analyses, ensuring alignment with business strategies, priorities, and financial requirements
  • Modeling the viability of new business efforts to include cost-benefit analyses, revenue alternatives, and costing scenarios based on the business leaders- strategic direction and input

Revenue & Budget size, Sales Volume etc.) Other Context (if applicable):Role is essential for the transformation journey of GS Procurement, by implementing a robust compliance, risk and control environment, and managing all budgetary and Procurement finance affairs and reporting, including savings validation/controls and recording, interface into Procurement Analytics, Procurement management, and OPCOs Finance/Businesses, assist with internal/external Auditors and audit points monitoring and management. Functional/Technical Competencies:Finance background, Risk & Controls Background, experience in budgeting and reporting, experience with internal/external Audit.Personal Characteristics and Required Background:Skillset (job specific technical skills and behavioral competencies needed)
  • Well versed with Financial accounting and planning
  • Solid interpersonal/facilitation/influencing skills
  • In-depth understanding FP&A processes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize in a complex, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects requiring frequent communication, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Highest degree of ethics
Minimum experience
  • Min 3 years of experience in a related/similar position
  • Min 6 years of overall experience
Minimum Qualifications/education
  • CFA
  • Bachelor?s degree in BCOM
  • Finance Specialization (CFA. CA)
  • Fluency in English and Arabic (Optional)
