Overview of the role:The Consultant Plastic Surgeon role is to diagnose medical illnesses and provide treatment with focus on the overall health of the patient including and not limited to physical, psychological and social aspects of care.ÿWhat you will do:Provides comprehensive reconstructive, cosmetic and corrective medical treatments to patients according to current best-evidence based standards, using best judgement at all times and in accordance with Al-Futtaim Health Medical Staff bylaws and rules and regulations.Participates equitably in the on-call roster.Perform surgeries on patients who want to augment and/or beautify certain body partsPerform various non-invasive treatmentsMake sure that surgical equipment is sterilizedFollow up with patients and provide appropriate medical careExplain the risks and dangers of surgical procedures to patientsAssess patients psychological health.Maintain confidentiality of all patient information according to federal guidelines and regulationsParticipates in the oversight and professional developments of any junior medical staff in the departments.Participate in the educational activities of the medical staff as a whole.
