As a reputed multi-specialty hospital, we are looking for a specialized Gastroenterologist to diagnose and treat diseases of the digestive system. Ability to examine patients to determine what?s causing the patient?s symptoms. Specialized to use a variety of tools, including endoscopes and biopsies, to diagnose the cause of the problem.˙Gastroenterologist Duties and Responsibilities˙?˙˙˙˙˙˙˙Consulting with patients to diagnose the cause of abdominal pain, diarrhoea, constipation, weight loss, and other symptoms?˙˙˙˙˙˙˙Performing a variety of diagnostic tests, including endoscopies, colonoscopies, and upper endoscopy procedures?˙˙˙˙˙˙˙Requesting lab tests and scans where required for diagnosis?˙˙˙˙˙˙˙Analyzing the results of diagnostic tests to determine a diagnosis and plan treatment options?˙˙˙˙˙˙˙Prescribing medications?˙˙˙˙˙˙˙Recommending lifestyle changes to manage gastrointestinal problems?˙˙˙˙˙˙˙Keeping medical records and liaising with a team of doctors where necessary for patient care˙Gastroenterologist Requirements / Skills / Qualifications˙?˙˙˙˙˙˙˙Degree in Medicine?˙˙˙˙˙˙˙Certification to practice Gastroenterology?˙˙˙˙˙˙˙Residency/Fellowship within Gastroenterology positions?˙˙˙˙˙˙˙Proficient in computer hardware/software and diagnostic machinery?˙˙˙˙˙˙˙Strong communicative and interpersonal skills?˙˙˙˙˙˙˙Developed bedside manner?˙˙˙˙˙˙˙Experience diagnosing and treating patients?˙˙˙˙˙˙˙3 plus years experience as Gastroenterologist?˙˙˙˙˙˙˙Able to travel for work seminars and training
