We are looking for a construction project manager to oversee and supervise all activities of the construction project from start to finish. You will be required to coordinate with other employees and personnel on the project requirements and ensure they are delivered on time. You are responsible for the smooth functioning of this company on its various construction project and its successful deliverance.Project manager responsibilities:úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿSupervise the construction project from start to finish.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿCoordinate with architects and engineers to understand the project details and requirements.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿNetwork with external contractors and negotiate to attain the best deals and rates for assignments.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿEnsure permits and licenses are obtained and maintained in order.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿRecruit personnel and contractors for the project as per requirements.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿDelegate tasks and assign responsibilities to personnel and ensure they are carried out.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿMonitor the performance of personnel on site and provide directions and feedback as and when required.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿEnsure resources are being used to the optimum to provide best results.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿAddress any grievance of personnel.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿReport any discrepancies to superiors and implement effective and timely solutions.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿEnsure all legal, health and safety regulations are being followed throughout the project.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿEnsure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budgetúÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿReport and escalate to management as neededúÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿPerform risk management to minimize potential risksúÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿDelegate project tasks based on junior staff members individual strengths, skill sets, and experience levelsúÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿMeet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysisúÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿDevelop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needsRequirementsúÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿBachelors in engineering, building sciences or relevant subjects.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿProject management professional certification or any equivalent qualification is an added bonus.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿTeam player and collaborative nature.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿExcellent communication and leadership skills.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿStrong multitasking, time management and organisational skills.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿExcellent knowledge of building permits, legal requirements and construction procedures.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿWell versed with construction and project management software.
