Job Description

Construction Manager Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple construction projects concurrently from conception to completion.
  • Review the project in-depth to establish the construction program with timeline, cost, and quality constraints for all deliverables.
  • Planned, direct, supervise, and control the execution of all construction and allied technical activities of the assigned projects.
  • Ensure that all project meets or exceed goals established in these plans.
  • Oversee all onsite and offsite activities related to the construction projects and monitor compliance with Project Execution Plan, Health and Safety Plan, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan.
  • Responsible for following up the instructions and commitments associated with the projects.
  • Fix the responsibility of subordinates for timely execution of every aspect of the project without compromising quality and budget.
  • Coordinate with procurement team to ensure timely delivery of materials and other required services.
  • Liaise with other managers, project engineers, and other departments to develop budgets, schedules, and plans for the various elements of the projects.
  • Monitor and reports to management on the progress of all project activity within the progra including significant milestones, and any conditions, which would affect project cost or schedule.
  • Establish weekly meeting to review project status and formulate action items.
  • Meet contractual conditions of performance and track daily work progress.
  • Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
  • Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
  • Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
