Nationality Location : Dubai Project will be executed in Afghanistan. Currently, the project is in FEED review stage and is being executed from Dubai.Note:1. Entire PMT will sit out of Dubai, wherein team member will have to travel to Afghanistan as and when required during execution stage.2. More details about the project: 3. You would be stationed in Dubai and fly as and when required to Afghanistan during EPC execution phase.Job Profile We are currently looking for experienced Construction Managers to form part of our Project Management Consultant (PMC) team based on a large Pipeline project in Afghanistan. Although execution will be in Afghanistan, entire engineering and Project Management will be from Client?s Dubai office. ? The main objective of the PMC is to implement and manage the overall Development Programme, which includes Pipeline infrastructure, Compressor stations (Phase-2), Pipeline way, Required permits elements. ? The team (PMC) shall be expected to assist the client in any way possible to ensure the Development is completed to the required timescales and within their stated budgets, with a specific focus on delivering the works on site during construction phase of the elements. ? The project is expected to last for up to 2 years for the FIRST PHASE elements, with further projects carrying on (Phase-2, operational and handover). ? Cross country pipeline experience is mandatory. ? Construction Manager will be core team member of IPMT (Integrated Project Management Team) who has to manage the entire execution sequence from client?s Dubai office with occasional visit to Afghanistan. ? The entire security plan is on client?s shoulder and PMC team will also comprise of Security Manager who will assess the entire plan before sending any team member to Afghanistan. Responsibilities? Part of a multi-functional team responsible for delivering many varied projects in accordance with the client's requirements. ? Overall construction management as part of a client team with emphasis on construction delivery, logistics and handover. ? Monitor contractor's compliance with EHS requirements ? Ensure resources are appropriate to meet current and future commitments and to maximise opportunities. ? Monitor the construction programme, identify deviances and act to ensure programme targets are met? Monitor quality of construction and act where necessary to ensure the required quality is delivered ? Coordinate multiple contractors, sites and logistics plans to ensure all elements are delivered in harmony ? EPC Tender bid evaluation (technical) Requirements ? Degree qualified: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a related field (Master Degree preferred) ? 20+ years of experience and preferably have experience like this project/role. ? Previous experience working in large Pipe diameters (42? and above) ? Demonstrable track record in the delivery of large scale projects aligned with the development elements listed above ? Construction management background including site-based roles and management roles as consultant, contractor or client representative. ? Capable of reviewing and enhancing existing operations within an organisation through all the project phases from inception to the final handover phase of a project ? Effective in building good working relationships within complex structures both within projects, with clients and internally
