Conference ManagerBlack & Grey HR is recruiting for one of the well known Human Resources companies in UAE. Our client is looking to hire a Conference Manager who will be responsible for planning and coordinating successful conferences and events for the company.- Interact with clients to obtain meeting requirements and schedules.- Supervise Conference Coordinators to plan and coordinate all meeting activities.- Act as primary contact for client inquiries and concerns.- Develop process improvements based on emerging trends to enhance event planning- Oversee additional client requests for meeting room set-up, AV devices and catering needs.- Inspect meeting rooms to ensure it meets client needs.- Develop and distribute meeting materials to attendees before meeting start.- Update conference website for latest events accurately.- Maintain meeting guide for conference team members.- Develop meeting budget and control expenses within the budget.Maintain meeting calendar and ensure event planning is on track.Requirements- 6+ years of experience in a similar role- Knowledge about sponsorship and delegate sales- Fluent in English (Arabic fluency will be an added advantage)- Problem solving and organizational skill, analytical thinking, attention to detail and ability to work on tasks independently collaboratively in a team environment- Manages vendors to ensure quality service standards are met, including quarterly business reviews, developing new contracts and managing existing contractsBenefits- Attractive Salary + BenefitsSkills- 6+ years of experience in a similar role - Knowledge about sponsorship and delegate sales - Fluent in English (Arabic fluency will be an added advantage) - Problem solving and organizational skill, analytical thinking, attention to detail and ability to work on tasks independently collaboratively in a team environment - Manages vendors to ensure quality service standards are met, including quarterly business reviews, developing new contracts and managing existing contracts Job Location Dubai, UAE Job Role Management Connecting high potential young & experienced game-changers to great businesses in the Middle East.
