Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Conference and Event Manager to join our team in Dubai, UAE. As a Conference and Event Manager, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing successful conferences, seminars, and events for our clients. The ideal candidate will have excellent project management skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively. You should also have excellent communication and negotiation skills, as you will be working with clients, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure the success of each event. The Conference and Event Manager will play a key role in delivering exceptional experiences for our clients and their attendees.Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with clients to understand their event objectives, requirements, and budget.
  2. Plan and execute all aspects of conferences and events, including venue selection, agenda development, speaker coordination, audiovisual setup, catering, and logistics.
  3. Manage event budgets and ensure cost-effective solutions are implemented.
  4. Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to negotiate contracts and ensure timely delivery of services.
  5. Create and manage event timelines, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  6. Oversee event registration and attendee management.
  7. Coordinate with marketing and design teams to develop event promotional materials.
  8. Provide on-site event management and ensure smooth execution of all event-related activities.
  9. Conduct post-event evaluations and gather feedback to improve future events.
  10. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in event management.
Preferred Candidate:
  1. 1-5 years of experience in event management or related field.
  2. Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  3. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  4. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  5. Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  6. Knowledge of event management software and tools.
  7. Experience in budget management and cost control.
  8. Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
  9. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
  10. Proficiency in MS Office suite.
