Compliance Officer - Dubai Our client, a international organisation, are looking to hire a compliance officer, based in Dubai.Purpose of the Role+ create, implement and monitor the companies global and local compliance policies and SOP; + investigate and report compliance incidents to identify root causes and implement appropriate mitigation plans; + perform on-going review of the key compliance risks and indicators; + perform regular gap analysis to identify inconsistencies in procedures across brands; and + perform periodic audits to ensure policy requirements are adhered to across the groups businesses and address any audit observations/points. + review and if necessary, update the existing group policies and keep the corresponding public statements to up to date; and + to implement adequate monitoring controls to meet compliance requirements across the groups offices. * Degree qualified * 3 years plus experience in a similar role * Experience with Data Protection/AML/ABC/CTF/Sanctions/Modern Slavery and Human Rights/HSSE policies * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Well organised, able to work strict deadlines * Attention to detail * Hands on attitude and sense of urgency * Able to act and operate independently and as part of a team * Demonstrates good understanding of risk, risk awareness and risk reporting * Ideally based in Dubai currently
