The candidate is expected to carry out the following tasks:Transport personnel or documents on a timely basis to any destination as required.Drive company vehicles as assigned and deliver personnel/goods to any assigned location within the United Arab Emirates (UAE).Inspect assigned vehicles before use to ensure their safe operating conditions, and report to mechanic any minor mechanical problems for immediate repair or adjustment.Be on standby during and out of the office hours if requested.Observe traffic laws and safety rules; attend company sponsored safety meetings; help passengers and other drivers to comply with safety rules and take positive action to prevent accidents. Report all the accidents and incidents immediately to line manager.Maintains records required for compliance with state and federal regulations.Keeps record of time, mileage, pallets shipped and received, any mechanical problems and general remarks.Reports all accidents involving driver or company equipment.Follow all company driving policies and all Federal traffic rules and regulations, and ensure passenger safety at all times.Perform any other duty or task requirements as deemed necessary
