Job Description

Urgent Requirement for a Commis I (Pastry & Bakery) for a well-known Luxury Hotel in Dubai.

  • Salary ? As per market standards

  • Location ? Dubai, UAE.
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for assisting the Chef de partie in preparing food according to the requirements or recipes or standards, and the specifications for his department.
  • Prepare the daily mise-en-place and food production in different sections of the main pantry.
  • Attend in trainings being conducted and implemented in daily operations to improve the quality of food.
  • Ensure that the food served went through proper preparation and has correct temperature.
  • Accept store deliveries and ensure that the stocks are in order.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly.
  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist.
  • Coordinate and participate with other sections of requirements, cleanliness, wastage and?cost?control.
