Job responsibilities will include,but not limited to the following:?Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service?Ability to work in a faced paced kitchen?Follow outlet policies, procedures and service standards?Have full knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods?Have full and complete knowledge of the dessert menu?Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage?Demonstrate a complete knowledge and understanding of the food service standards?To report for duty 5 minutes before time, clean and tidy and wearing the correct uniformas per the standard of performance manual?To strive to anticipate client needs wherever possible and react to these to enhanceclient satisfaction?To comply with Municipality regulations regarding Food Hygiene procedures.?To be flexible in assisting around different areas of the hotel in response tobusiness and client needs?To perform all tasks to a consistent standard as detailed with the departmentstandard of performance manual, and to promote within Hotel and Brand keyStandards?To attenddaily briefing sessions and Hotel/Departmental meetings when required?To attendtraining sessions and meeting when required and to operate in line with thetraining or information received?To demonstrate a pride in workplace and ahigh level of commitment.To move into this position you should have?Tenure in current position minimum one year?Minimum 2 years experience inthe relevant area of a 5* Property?Excellent communication skills and good command ofEnglish language?Good interpersonal skills?Smart in appearance and well groomed?Fit to work 2shifts (afternoon & night)?Excellent communication and organizational skills?Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities?Highly responsible & reliable?Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment?Ability towork cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a teamMarriott International is an equal opportunity employer committed to hiring a diverse workforce and sustaining an inclusive culture.
