? Should be dynamic and have demonstrable experience on large scale fit out/joinery projects.? Capability to use your network to find new business and lead the growth of the company.? Excellent/high level networking skills to build and maintain relationships with key accounts and business partners.? Must have a strong knowledge of the market and understanding of legal/contractual terms.? Exposure to various forms of contract, particularly FIDIC and constructions contract law claims procedures.? Leading contract reviews from a commercial, operational perspective, contract negotiation, and liaising with legal team as required.? Drafting of new contracts, agreements and addendum/amendments.? Preparation and submitting of prolongation cost claims and negotiation of liquidity damages.? Final negotiations of bid prices/ variations.? Preparation of Project Budgets, monitoring and giving notifications to the relevant departments.? Implementing recovery measures to minimize the overruns.? Assisting Project team to recover the delays.? Ensuring all contracts are compliant with corporate policy and meet regulatory requirementQualification? Western educated candidates.? Age 40 plus? Minimum 10 years UAE experience in a Commercial Manager role within interior fit out.? Degree qualified, chartered QS.? Proven track record in working as a QS/estimator within the UAE.? Must have a sound Commercial understanding.? Good understanding of construction techniques and methodology.? Must be organized, proactive, flexible and detail oriented.?
