Developing and administering contract documents from design stage to the tender process through to contract close-out including variations issuance and claims resolution and other construction related contracts;
Developing the contracting strategy. Defining and communicating policies and procedures for the complete contracting process and contract administration;
Establishing approved, standard, risk assessed tender and contract templates and conditions using FIDIC and other standard forms of contract;
Advising on FIDIC contract interpretation, risk assessment and mitigation in tenders and awarded contracts, claims management, claims assessment methodologies and claims resolution strategies;

Supervises the management of projects on all matters related to commercial/contractual matters including claims and dispute resolution.
Defence of construction claims (extensions of time, direct loss and / or expense) including identification of liability, ascertaining quantum in terms of delay and cost, demonstrating cause and effect, and negotiation and settlement;
Oversees completion of all close out formalities and the final account for the projects.
Provides general commercial/contractual support to the project teams.
Ensuring all work produced by the projects Team is delivered in accordance with the master programme;
