The main responsibilities is to proactively monitor business critical systems & applications, analyze alerts and be able to effectively escalate alerts to support and to Senior Management. Will be responsible for providing application & system support to Group IT.Key DeliverablesMonitor, Analyze and Escalate/Notify Alerts. Responsible for all aspects of monitoring of Core Business ApplicationsAssist Incident Manager during the critical incidents Ensure all department emails are acknowledged & actioned.Ensure alerts notified and escalated as per the baseline standards defined by the IT Infrastructure & Application Team.Familiar with all monitoring processes defined in the SOP.Active involvement in Proactive Monitoring.Incident analysis and follow up until closure.Ensure Netbackup operations, manage restoration requests as per Support & Business Provide valuable continues feedback for the Monitoring capabilities enhancement First Level Support for Infrastructure & Applications.Liaising with Application, Infrastructure & GISM for Incident Resolution.DR Execution - Application Failback & Failover and SupportExperience within complex environments defined by high availability, high transaction rate and geographical complexityTechnical/Functional: Sound Knowledge in System Administration, Prior Experience in Industrial Standard Monitoring and Reporting tools.Good understanding of Systems and Applications.Ability to analyze and accordingly be able to take action on alerts generated from monitoring systems.Ability to work independently, Should be able to understand and follow the SOP defined by Computer Operations.
