Opportunity ResponsibilitiesThe role of the Collection Kiosk Manager is to work with the Director and Senior Manager Design and Craft to develop, manage, execute the Design Collections, as well as manage and follow up on the execution of the interior design of the Kiosks to ensure we deliver a truly exceptional Expo with a meaningful legacy.The main responsibilities for this role include:- Building a strategic partnership with local UAE s design professionals, design brands and SME s in design and crafts as well as local Design producers, providers, factories and workshops;- Building a strategic partnership with international professionals, design brands and SME s in design and craft and assure their commitment and engagement with the Design & Crafts programme;- Manage and coordinate with Design & Crafts team all needed and required tasks to assure the best implementation and effective management of the design collections content and outcomes;- Manage and coordinate with the consultants and collaborators all needed and required tasks for the correct development and production of the design collections;- Foster a strong relationship with the local UAE and international design and crafts scene building a creative networking and pool of creatives as a legacy of Expo 2020 Dubai;- Manage the production process of the collections, locally and internationally;- Manage and deal with the required teams to implement the interior design project for the kiosks from design, materials production and implementation aspects;- Manage the production of the collections (Designed in Emirates, Collaborations, and Designed for Emirates) including design development, graphic design and packaging;- To support the designers and SME s to improve local and international production for the DIE and Collaborations Collections, from design to final delivery of the products;- Develop the Design and Crafts content for the exhibition and publications;- Technical support for local designers at DIE collection and the production processes;- Manage on behalf of Expo 2020 supporting suppliers, including production companies, agencies, consultants, designers and SME s, in the delivery of world-class products;- Oversee the management of all suppliers and logistics to ensure activations are delivered to brief and on schedule.
