? Responsible for the setting and operation of many CNC OKUMA (2 axes) and CNC Brother (3 axes with indexer). A partial list of the machinery includes but is not limited to: CNC Vertical machining center and Turning center.? Programming on FANUC/ SINUMERIC controls.? Knowledge of latest cutting tools and how to apply them as per the raw material spec.? Maintaining all programs in a systematic way with revision numbering.? Maintaining backup for all proven programs with proper revision history.? Establish tool required and coordinate with Manufacturing Manager.? Must be able to work with limited supervision and perform work under own directive.? Establishing communication that will ensure product meets quality control standards and production schedules.? Constant effort towards improving set-up and delivery times while maintaining high quality.? Reading blueprints and measuring tools to maintain production tolerances.? Participation in Share Ring groups.? Accepting any job that may be asked of him/her by a Center Leader, Shift Coordinator, or Team SupportCoordinator.? Participating in cross-training programs developed by the Center Leader.? Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.? Writing programs for CNC based machinery according to the center?s changing product line.? Trouble shooting programs and set-ups to make the most efficient use of machine time possible.
