At the moment were looking for a Cluster MICE Fulfillment Manager to join our energetic, enthusiastic and passionate team at InterContinental Hotels Dubai Festival City.Reporting directly to the Director of Conference and Events, the MICE Fulfillment Manager will be responsible in proposing, converting and handling the operational side of the group.Handling of Groups, Events and Special Accounts and Projects

• To handle the MICE segment
• To handle inquiries from A-Z for leads that are coming within 45 days
• Communicates regularly with guests and ensures high customer satisfaction and service standards
• To ensure seamless execution of an event from proposal, conversion, completion to billing
• To ensure constant and open communication especially with Business Development and Events Services team to appear as one team and act in a professional manner

Administration work

• To maintain and input Delphi Accurate and complete entry of all necessary information in Delphi to have a good knowledge about Delphi and Opera.
• To participate in the weekly BEO/GIS, Handover and Yield meetings.
• Communicating actively with all departments in the hotel and understand the needs and importance of open communication

Achieve revenue targets

• Proactively solicits for referrals from in house clients.
• Services all confirmed business efficiently and ensuring that both organizers and guests are satisfied to entice repeat bookings.
• To ensure that proper charging is done for all events related services and the contract should be efficiently executed and all changes supported with addendums.
• Upselling Invoice accuracy and promptness of delivery should be followed
• Know what the competition is doing what they are offering.
• Always keep abreast with new things in events and events management by maintaining and forging good relationships with event planners and organizers.
• Ensure up to date knowledge of market dynamics locally in Dubai and UAE, regionally and internationally to provide valuable input towards hotel?s strategy development plan.
• Create good relationships with Suppliers of events services providers
• 100% compliance of MICE Conversion.
• Engage with guests and customers within the hotel, at client events, industry gatherings and other social functions.

Achieve profit targets

• Supports the hotels GOP targets by consciously ensuring that costs are kept to a minimum
• Discretion should be used at all times when offering discounts, the parameters of the Events Catalogue should be maintained always.
• Complementary policies of the hotel should be followed at all times and parameters set by revenue should be adhered to.

Operate Efficiently

• Ensures that BEOs are given to operating departments 5 days prior to the event
• Coordinates that client files are kept organized and current with all required information.
• Conducts pre events meetings with the operating departments as required
• Updates Delphi, Opera and manual files.
• Follows the events sales process of the hotel
• Refers and efficiently utilize the events catalogue.

Ideally, youll have some or all of the following competencies and experience were looking for:

• Bachelor from a University or Hotel School preferably in Sales & Marketing or tourism/hotel management
• Proficient in oral and written English and preferably a 2nd language
• Minimum 2 year experience in a similar capacity of a 5* hotel or the MICE industry with F&B Operations environment and/or strength in catering sales and operations.
• Customer driven, meticulous; has high attention to details
• Good team player and eager to grow and further develop in own career
• Excellent all-round communication (telephone, email, face to face etc.)
• High level of common sense and skills of problem solving and making decisions
• Delphi experience
