Job Description

Job Objective:TheCloud Architectis responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining our companys cloud infrastructure. This person will work closely with the executive team, stakeholders, and other engineers to ensure high levels of availability, performance, and security for our mission-critical systems.Key Responsibilities:?

  • Design, deploy, and enhance applications, software, and operating systems
  • Migrate existing applications and components from on-premise to cloud, with a focus on security
  • Conduct research on software, systems, and cloud resources to support implementation and migration efforts
  • Analyze the cost-benefit and return on investment of proposed systems
  • Monitor and improve the performance and uptime of cloud systems
  • Reduce costs and modernize existing systems by migrating to SaaS and serverless environments
  • Perform security audits, backup procedures, and disaster recovery processes in accordance with company policies
  • Research and implement cloud services to integrate servers and applications into a cloud ecosystem
  • Test and validate modified and new systems, including end-user reviews
  • Stay current with new cloud offerings and services
  • Maintain high security scores on all platforms
