Objectives: The Climbing Wall Instructor serves a vital role in our flagship store in Dubai. Supervising the daily activities at the climbing wall to provide a safe and friendly climbing environment for customers to enjoy the benefits of indoor rock climbing.Main responsibilities:- Enforces all climbing wall policies and procedures- Inspects visually the equipment and facility during opening and closing of wall and report any problems immediately to Management- Completes regularly scheduled rope checks- Provides supervision of climbing wall participants to include belaying and spotting climbers- Handles all injuries, accidents, and emergency situations in accordance with policy- Provides assistance to climbers by: determining the eligibility of individuals to use the climbing wall, teaching/demonstrating proper use of climbing equipment (harnesses, belay devices, shows, etc.)- Maintaining accurate and current records of attendance, equipment inventory, and a list of those certified to belay, and accurately completes all forms and checklists. - Maintains an organized and neat work area- Checks daily with management and colleagues notes for duties and tasks
