Job Description

˙Design and Planning:˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙Lead the design and development of civil engineering projects, ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙Conduct site analysis, surveys, and feasibility studies.˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙Prepare detailed engineering drawings, plans, and specifications for various infrastructure projects.˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙Utilize civil engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, or similar) to create designs. Project Management:˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙Oversee the execution of civil engineering projects from initial concept to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙Coordinate with architects, contractors, subcontractors, and other engineers to ensure the project progresses smoothly.˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙Monitor and manage project risks, addressing issues and resolving challenges in a timely manner.˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙Prepare and present project reports, status updates, and technical documentation.Site Supervision and Quality Assurance:

  • Conduct site inspections and oversee construction activities to ensure that work is carried out according to design specifications and standards.
  • Ensure that safety and environmental regulations are followed during construction.
  • Collaborate with contractors to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure high-quality work
Cost Estimation and Budgeting:
  • Provide cost estimates and work with the finance team to ensure proper budgeting.
  • Track project expenses and manage costs effectively to meet financial goals.
Problem Solving and Technical Guidance:
  • Provide technical expertise in solving engineering challenges and offer creative solutions to complex issues.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers and technicians on technical and project-related matters.
  • Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and standards, applying innovative techniques to improve designs and processes.
Regulatory Compliance:
  • Ensure that all designs and projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Obtain necessary permits and approvals from regulatory agencies for project execution.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of compliance documentation.
