  • Develop and implement a comprehensive risk management strategy for the company, aligned with its overall business objectives and regulatory requirements. Foster a strong risk-aware culture within the organization. Conduct risk awareness and training programs for employees to enhance their understanding of risk management principles and practices.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential risks in the physical trading business, including market, credit, operational, and regulatory risks.
  • Stay updated with relevant regulations and industry best practices. Ensure the companys compliance with regulatory requirements, reporting obligations, and risk management guidelines set by relevant authorities.
  • Analyze the companys trading portfolio to assess its risk profile, concentration risks, and potential exposure to market fluctuations. Provide insights and recommendations on portfolio diversification and hedging strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including trading desks, finance, legal, and compliance teams, to ensure effective risk management practices across the organization. Engage with external stakeholders such as regulators, auditors, and industry associations on risk-related matters.
