CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER UP TO 90K AED+ FOR AN E-COMMERCE COMPANY IN DUBAI?POSITION: Chief Operating OfficerSALARY: 90,000 AED depending on experience and qualifications plus other benefitsHIRING COMPANY: E-Commerce CompanyWORK LOCATION: Dubai, UAEAVAILABILITY: Can start immediately is preferredEMPLOYMENT TYPE: Permanent?CANDIDATE PROFILE:Open to any nationalityMale, 60 years old and belowOpen to candidates outside UAE?EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Bachelor?s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or any subject from a reputed institutionMasters/MBA Degree from a reputed institution in relevant/ elated subject areasAt least 10-15 years of relevant operations experience, preferably including several years in the real estate and /or the logistics sector from a free zone perspectiveProven professional experience and deep understanding of the e-commerce business, ideally in industries with high penetration of e-commerce (apparel, consumer electronics and appliances, beauty and consumer healthcare, etc.)Strong background in managing large-scale implementation programs preferably within the Middle East regionDemonstrated experience in growing and managing new businesses?JOB DESCRIPTION:Oversee the successful implementation and manage the implementation teams assigned to the different implementation work-streams (including facilities and infrastructure development, logistics services, IT infrastructure and services, regulations, marketing and commercial proposition, lead generation and acquisition, organization design and recruiting, legal and financial planning)Ensure implementation as per the set timelines, budgets and in line with the overall strategy and guidelinesLead the development and the review / enhancement of the commercial strategy and planDesign the future organization structure and lead the recruiting process of the top key positionsLead the strategic relationship with government authorities as required for the joint development and piloting of new regulations to facilitate and boost the e-commerceLead the development of strategic relationships with external partners who will be delivering critical services to the future tenants (e.g. logistics service partners, IT service partners, other eco-system partners, etc.)Technically and commercially manage such strategic partnership agreements and contractsLead the implementation of the pilot exercise to test the new services and processes of the company on a sample of customersRegularly report to the to the leadership committee and, as and when required, to the board on the progress of the implementation, seek their approval for key milestones, obtain the necessary resources and budgets to ensure successful implementation as per the set timeframe and raise any potential major risks and issuesManage future maintenance and enhancement of all infrastructure and facilitiesAct as primary responsible for the effective and efficient delivery of all services to tenants, including lease, licenses and employee visas, facility services, logistics services, IT services, etc.Lead the management of the performance of core functions (projects, leasing & licensing, logistics management, etc.) and support functions (finance & accounting, controlling, IT, HR, legal)Lead the management of the operational and technical contracts with the 3rd party partners (e.g. Logistics partners) and monitor their performance in line with the pre-set SLAsContinuously lead the onboarding / offboarding process of future customers in connection with the commercial and legal departmentsContinuously recruit, develop and retain people for his team with outstanding skills, qualifications and potential
