Chief Financial Officer (CFO) ? Multi-Entity Finance & Compliance Lead

Job Description

We are looking for a hands-on Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to oversee and manage the finance and compliance operations across five legal entities in different jurisdictions. As our finance leader, you will work closely with the CEO and provide full visibility into the financial health of the company, ensuring all processes run smoothly, cash flow is forecasted accurately, and all financial reporting and compliance requirements are met across jurisdictions.This is a hands-on leadership role, balancing high-level oversight with active involvement in day-to-day financial operations, working closely with bookkeepers, revenue officers, and external service providers.Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial operations across five entities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency
• Prepare and maintain cash flow forecasts, working closely with leadership to ensure healthy cash reserves and anticipate financial needs
• Ensure all entities comply with local financial regulations, VAT/GST filings (where applicable), and corporate reporting obligations
• Establish and maintain clear processes for financial reporting, expense categorization, revenue reconciliation, and tax compliance
• Manage and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring all data is accurate and delivered on time
• Supervise the bookkeeping team, ensuring transactions are properly recorded and all accounts are reconciled
• Work with the Revenue Officer to ensure all revenue streams (sales, subscriptions, affiliate revenue) are accurately tracked and reported
• Collaborate with external accountants and compliance advisors to ensure all filings and regulatory submissions are up to date
• Identify and implement process improvements across financial operations to support business growth
• Serve as the primary financial advisor to the CEO, providing clear financial insights and recommendations

What We?re Looking For

• At least 10 years of experience in finance, including multi-entity oversight across international jurisdictions
• Strong experience with financial reporting, compliance, cash flow forecasting, and operational finance processes
• Hands-on experience with Xero and familiarity with Stripe, PayPal, Shopify, and custom CRMs
• Strong leadership skills ? able to manage, mentor, and collaborate with both internal teams and external advisors
• Comfortable working in a remote-first environment with teams across different time zones
• Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to distill complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for leadership
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken

Bonus Skills

• Experience working with e-commerce or subscription-based businesses
• Experience managing VAT and cross-border financial compliance
• Familiarity with affiliate revenue tracking and reporting
