Chief AccountantJob Location : UAEKey Responsibilities:?Develop and implement financial systems, policies, and procedures.?Oversee the preparation of financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and statements of cash flow.?Monitor and analyze financial performance.?Provide financial advice to company management.?Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.?Manage the accounting and finance staff.?Prepare and review budgets.?Perform internal audits.?Coordinate with external auditors.?Monitor and review current tax laws.?Prepare financial statements for presentation to the board of directors.?Evaluate new business opportunities and investments.Requirements and Qualifications:?Masters degree in Accounting or similar field.?8-10 years of similar role experience, ideally in the Shipping industry?Strong knowledge of IFRS?Experience with ERP- Microsoft Dynamics AX/ SAP/Oracle is preferred.?Proven ability to prioritize projects and initiate follow-through with meticulous attention detail.
