Job Description

SII Restaurants | Pekoe tea & bread bar is looking for CDP with hot kitchen or bakery experience.Ideal candidate would have worked for 2 years as a CDP and has attitude to learn and grow within a growing brand.Responsibilities include but are not limited to -

  • Preparing, cooking and presenting high quality dishes within the speciality section
  • Assisting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in creating menu items, recipes and developing dishes
  • Working with the Head Chef & Sous Chef for the a la carte items in the bakery
  • Assisting with the management of health and safety
  • Assisting with the management of food hygiene practices
  • Managing and training any Commis Chefs
  • Monitoring portion and waste control
  • Overseeing the maintenance of kitchen and food safety standards
To land a job as a Chef de Partie you will need:
  • Minimum 2 years relevant experience as a CDP
  • Awareness of manual handling techniques
  • Experience of kitchen equipment
  • Experience of dangerous equipment such as knives
  • Understandable level of English spoken and written
  • CDP: 2 years (Preferred)
