Job Description

As a Chef with South East Asian cuisine experience, you will be responsible for creating and preparing authentic dishes from the region. You will have a deep understanding of the flavors, ingredients, and techniques used in South East Asian cooking. Your role will involve menu planning, recipe development, and ensuring the highest standards of taste, presentation, and quality. The ideal candidate will have a passion for South East Asian cuisine, excellent culinary skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.Responsibilities:

  1. Create and prepare South East Asian dishes according to authentic recipes and customer requirements
  2. Develop and update the menu to include a variety of South East Asian dishes
  3. Source and select high-quality ingredients for the dishes
  4. Ensure the proper storage, handling, and preparation of ingredients
  5. Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation
  6. Train and supervise kitchen staff in South East Asian cooking techniques
  7. Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement new dishes and promotions
  8. Manage inventory and control food costs
  9. Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
  10. Handle customer feedback and resolve any issues or complaints
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Minimum of 3 of experience as a chef specializing in South East Asian cuisine
  2. Strong knowledge of South East Asian ingredients, flavors, and cooking techniques
  3. Experience in menu planning and recipe development for South East Asian dishes
  4. Ability to create authentic and innovative South East Asian dishes
  5. Excellent culinary skills and attention to detail
  6. Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  7. Effective communication and leadership abilities
  8. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  9. Valid food handling certification
