ROLE PURPOSECBG Data Architect will build, optimize and maintain data model designs to meet strategic data requirements for CBG strategic areas. The architect will influence how data will be stored, consumed, integrated and managed by different IT systems, as well as any business applications using or processing that data in some way. The candidate will act as thought leader in developing the future state architecture.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES????????? Translation of business requirements from internal stakeholders in high quality Data Design????????? Gap analysis between the requirements and the existing capabilities????????? Working with teams in the development and maintenance of the Enterprise Data Model (EDM).????????? Engage with projects to support new requirements and ensure they are reflected in the EDM.????????? Adhering to data governance practices and standards.????????? Provide effective delivery within timelines of the project / initiative.?Knowledge, sKILLS & EXPERIENCE:Knowledge & Experience:Must Haves:????????? Extensive BFSI IT experience (10+ years)????????? A minimum of 5+ years of hands on experience as an Architect in building models for Consumer Banking spaceo??? Experience in building Wealth Management, Cards or Loyalty Enterprise Data Modelso??? Experience in leading database development team for at least one project????????? Experience with Erwin Data Modeler or a comparable data modeling tool????????? Experience with creating and maintaining Enterprise Data Models.Expertise in the database area: Oracle, SQL server, Sybase; cross-platform proficiency (Windows, Unix, Linux); ETL tools like ODI, OWB, SSIS, Informatica; cloud-based architecture- Hadoop framework.????????? Fair understanding of Non-functional requirements (Scalability, Security and Availability)?????????? Prior experience in conducting Integration / design workshops?Desirable:????????? Experience with Data Vault 2.0 Modelling????????? Knowledge of Power BI reporting tool will be a value add?????????
