Black & Grey HR˙is recruiting for a technology retail company based out in Dubai, UAE. Our client is looking to hire an experienced merchandise buyer,who will be responsible for handling the entire buying in of merchandise and collectibles to increase the market share by exploiting opportunities to maximize profitability and sales growth.˙<br /><br />- Prepare and place purchase orders for current and upcoming seasons and events.<br />- Must have previous management experience with a range of product categories, including toys,collectibles, and novelty items.- Negotiating with suppliers and vendors for competitive prices.˙<br />- Assess quality of stock received and escalate any discrepancies to suppliers and management.<br />- Ensure the timely delivery of products and compliance with the contracts of purchase.<br />- Monitors and report to management vendor performance.<br /><br />Requirements- 5+years exp. as Merchandise Buyer.<br />- Proven work experience in buying in the merchandise department<br />- Interest in movies, TV shows, and video games will be added advantage.<br />- For this position, having an understanding of production and licensing would be beneficial<br /><br /><br />Benefits- Attractive Salary + Benefits<br /><br />
