Job Description

? Assist BI Senior Manager in the implementation and operation of Data Warehouse (DWH), business intelligence (BI) including reporting and dashboards? Support Core Systems Analyst in integration requirements? Responsible for the operations and support of DWH, BI and reporting? Manage and document releases3. Key accountabilities? Availability of the BI and DWH systems including the monitoring of timely, correct and complete data loads? Successful integration between core IT systems, front end systems and 3rd party external systems? Timely delivery of accurate reports? Documentation of the operational procedures of the systems? Vendor relationship including development, support and maintenanceDATA WAREHOUSE MANAGEMENT? Operational management of the Data Warehouse (DWH) and Business Intelligence (BI) environments, to ensure that all systems are working as per specifications? Management of DWH function (in-house as well as outsourced components) on a day-to-day basis? Establishment, management and quality control of information feeds to the DWH? Driving the definition, development, validation and quality control of incoming feeds? Management and quality control of reference data? Management and supervision of data aggregation and collection processes? Overseeing of technical aspects (storage, backups, data retention and disaster recovery) of DWHREPORTING MANAGEMENT? Execution of ad-hoc and routine reporting tasks? Development of data environment in order to facilitate report production to meet business needs. Includes ensuring that the relevant data required is available in a form that is suitable for reporting, and that the data is correct? Implementation of reports based on user requirements in DWH/BI environments, SQL query development for prototyping and report development? Development of presentation layer for reports in Excel and/or other dashboard tools for report distribution and publication4. Frameworks, boundaries and decision-making authority? Reporting to BI Senior Manager? Weekly alignment session with line manager5. Measurement criteria? Delivery of reliable systems functionalities on time, and within budget? Robust operations and maintenance of the DWH and BI systems? Timely delivery of correct and complete reports and dashboards6. RemunerationNegotiable on candidate s experience and qualifications7. Candidate s profile (minimum qualification)Education? Bachelor or Masters degree in telecommunications or IT degree.? Telecom experience is a plus? Additional training courses and seminars is a plus? Business studies would be welcomed? Certification in the Management of relational databases is a plusProfessional qualification? At least five years of technical experience working with BI, DWH, ESB? Knowledge of QlikView (BI tool) strong plus? Track record of successful management of the implementation of BI reports? Knowledge of mobile network technologies is a plus? Expert in SQL query? Knowledge in management of relational databases? Java programming experience is a plus? Integration Services and API experience? Experience in ESB integration? Experience in managing supplier relationships? .NET programming experience is a plus? PMP/Prince2 is a plusOther skills? Distinct service orientation that helps to facilitate cooperation with other operators and the SBU departments? Possess a strong performance and results orientation?
